Ms. Walker is the clerk for the municipal court. She manages all documents and court papers. She also takes all payments.

Mr. McMeans is the Town of Byng attorney. He handles all  civil and criminal matters for the Town of Byng and  the municipal court. He prosecutes all traffic cases.

Ms. Rollins is the municipal judge for the Town of Byng. She has practiced criminal law for over 24 years. She hears and rules on all cases brought before the municipal court.

Byng Municipal Court is located at 110 Byng Avenue in the Town of Byng, Oklahoma, which is five miles north of Ada. The Town Hall, Fire Department and Court are all located in the same building. Parking is available in the front of the building.

The Town of Byng City Council consists of a mayor and four trustees. The Mayor for the Town of Byng is Jeff Sibble. Town meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m.

 The beginnings of the town of Byng were established in 1917 with the building of a post office and power plant (about five miles north of Ada). The post office and power plant were named to honor the World War I exploits of British General Julian Byng who commanded the Canadian Corps and was later Governor General of Canada. The town was not formally formed until 1922 when the remains of two other communities were merged into Byng. Tyrola, about a mile north of Byng was almost wiped out by a flooding of the South Canadian River in 1914. New Bethel, also approximately a mile north of present-day Byng, but lying east of Tyrola, had also been formed. The school at New Bethel and the school at Tyrola were combined to create New Bethel Consolidated Number 3 in 1925, and the name was changed to Byng in 1929. The town incorporated in 1972. The Court was established in 2016. 

Byng Public Schools is made up of the Byng High School, the Byng Junior High School, Byng Elementary, Homer Elementary, and Francis Elementary.  Pirate Pride is steeped in a rich heritage of excellence and tradition. The Byng district wraps around the city of Ada from the northwest to southeast. There are approximately 1750 students in grades PK-12 at five sites. Byng Schools has an ethnically diverse student body.   The High School's physical address is 214 Stokes Drive, Ada, Oklahoma 74820.
